Established in 1968, the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has been a pioneer in providing high-quality management education for over 52 years. Admission Details for MBA and MBA-IB:

Candidates applying for MBA and MBA-IB programs must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern or a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education, or Law.
  • A postgraduate degree in any discipline.

The selection process includes CAT scores (50%), GD & PI scores (30%), and academic performance (20%).

Admission Details for MBA-AB:

Candidates applying for MBA-AB must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Agriculture) or allied disciplines or B.Sc. in Home Science/Life Sciences subjects.
  • A postgraduate degree with 50% marks in the above disciplines.

The selection process includes a written test (PET) score (80%) and GD/PI (20%).

Admission Details for PGDBA:

Candidates applying for PGDBA must:

  • Hold a graduation degree from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a business organization or teaching position at BHU.

Selection is based on academic record, work experience, and performance in GD/PI rounds.

Admission Details for Diploma and Certificate Programs:

Part-time career-oriented diploma and certificate programs are available, including:

  • 1-year Diploma in Microfinance & Entrepreneurship
  • 1-year Diploma in Leisure & Hospitality Management
  • 6-month Certificate program in Health Care Management

Admission is based on merit obtained in GD and PI rounds.

  • A master’s degree in various disciplines related to management.

IMS BHU Placements 2022: A Remarkable Year for Career Opportunities
